Angela Morrisby

Angela Morrisby is the sort of person you want running an event or conference for your business, brand or sponsorship property. With over 30 years’ event management experience drawn from some of the most professional event outfits in Queensland – including the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Sheraton Brisbane Hotel & Towers, Queensland Tourism and Events, Restaurant & Catering Queensland. Even his Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama entrusted her on his speaking tour of Australia and a contract with the 2018 Commonwealth Games was a proud addition to her library of work.

Angela’s area of expertise and passion is corporate and special events, convention sales and management.

Commercially astute with proven success in managing multiple projects within a dynamic, fast- paced environment Angela is a motivated and effective communicator who builds strong interpersonal relations and has a superior eye for detail and evaluation with a demonstrated history of work.

Angela has a diploma in Business Studies – Major in Accountancy.

A self confessed foodie, who hails from Tasmania, but now a naturalised Queenslander, Angela’s events approach means you are in safe hands – either as a total concept to delivery event manager, or having her as part of your team as a mentor – as she has recently done for the The Prop House.

She’s a natural at stakeholder management, as her focus is always on the audience and this was never more visible, than at the recent Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast where Angela was responsible for stakeholder relations for all the local councils and state and federal government involved in delivering a successful event.
